Samsung has recently unveiled a 1TB "eco-friendly" hard drive its featuring minimise power consumption.
Samsung company claims that the EcoGreen F1 provides a 15 percent power saving compared to other low-powered 1TB hard drives and a 50 percent power reduction against traditional 1TB hard drives.The EcoGreen F1 can be used as an external hard drive or as an internal drive for desktop PCs.The device incorporates 5,400rpm rotational speeds, 3Gbps Sata interface, native command queuing and a 32MB buffer memory.
