Samsung has recently unveiled a 1TB "eco-friendly" hard drive its featuring minimise power consumption.

Samsung company claims that the EcoGreen F1 provides a 15 percent power saving compared to other low-powered 1TB hard drives and a 50 percent power reduction against traditional 1TB hard drives.The EcoGreen F1 can be used as an external hard drive or as an internal drive for desktop PCs.The device incorporates 5,400rpm rotational speeds, 3Gbps Sata interface, native command queuing and a 32MB buffer memory.

Samsung has announced its latest 82-inches “Ultra-Definition” LCD TV panel with 3840×2160 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate that will allow you to watch motion pictures.The screen has able to display "ultra-definition" resolution at 120 frames per second and lessens the blurring that is normally experienced at 60Hz.Samsung has also added a red/green/blue LED backlight to improve the true color saturation to 150%.

Samsung has not announced the availability and price information about this product till now.


Samsung's OLED laptop coming in 2009?

Samsung will unveil a prototype laptop with a 12.1-inch using an (AMOLED) active matrix OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) display with a 1280 x 768 resolution.These OLEDs use light emitting diodes made up of electroluminescent organic compounds to produce different colors.This laptop with an advanced backplane driver,for better driving of the high-resolution display.
Samsung is planning to launch laptops using OLED displays up to 15.5in in size from next year.
