Nokia will introduce a new touchscreen handset named as "Tube " which will increase competition with Apple's iPhone,which is likely to be known as the ‘Tube 5800.’

While at conference at the Evans Data Developer Relations Conference in Redwood City- California,Vice President of Forum Nokia, Tom Libretto has confirmed the development of the Nokia Tube.

Nokia's touchscreen devices has a full Internet browser with Flash support.The Nokia tube will supports Java with a standard to better compete with Apple's current iPhone.As per speculations the phone would also have Wi-FI capability, 3G HSDPA connectivity together with Bluetooth, also likely to have a 3.5mm headphone jack and TV-output port for a wide-screen view.

The New Nokia Tube 5800 will be equipped with 3.2 inch touchscreen display having 16 million colors, 3.2 MP camera with auto-focus and GPS.

The Information about the pricing and launch of the phone has not revealed till now.
