Dell recently introduced a notebook with a blu-ray disc player for less than $1,000.Dell is offering its blu-ray inspiron 1525 for $879 at a time when consumers are expected to embrace HD(high-definition) DVD's.

Dell inspiron 1525 with a 15.4-inch notebook with a wide screen 720p playback and features a HDMI port for connecting to HD displays and HDTV's.This player can burn files such as videos and digital photos to a Blu-ray disc.It is also burn CD and DVD as well as play DVD movies.Dell uses Broadcom Media PC technology to allow the integrated graphics to able to play Blu-ray titles.

Dell offers the 1525 in three colours including Midnight blue,Sunshine yellow and Ruby red.
